″Space saver″ machine for visibility in the factory
Keeping basic structure of USL-480, features of two machines are incorporated into a single 1,000-mm wide bed. Compared with two-machine-in-line, the required floor space is reduced 27%. In addition, the 1,500-mm machine’s height provides better visibility in the factory by eliminating high-rise wall that might obstruct view. Installation at factory with lower ceiling is suitable, which relates to the benefit of reducing hidden cost such as air conditioning and operators’ time moving on the floor.
Achieving energy saving with lower cost
The 2-spindle machine equipped with one bed, one controller and one loader achieves drastic cost reduction compared with two linked USL-480 machines. The cover structure has been redesigned and finished into a slim form without impairing operability. The XW-30, with compact advanced features and lower production cost, will help improve production environment as well as save floor space and energy.
Higher performance control system
The newest Mitsubishi controller is installed. Conventional optional NC features are incorporated as standard features, achieving high performance control system. In addition, a touch panel monitor provides compact and improved accessibility of operation box.
High-speed loader for higher productivity
Compact, high-speed ″Σ Loader″ is mounted. Two-step vertical axis model is the smallest among the TAKAMAZ loaders and provides a loading time of 4 seconds or less, ensuring high productivity.
