High-precision polygon machining
With the conventional milling machines and others of this type, the grinding is done for every index to shave workpieces with many sides. On this machine, the features of a lathe are implemented. The tool and workpiece are both rotating for immediate finish. This results to short cycle time and a very accurate polygon cutting is possible.
Greatly increased productivity
On polygon cutting, processing operation does not require indexing. Comparing with cutting process and other methods that require interpolation and polar coordinate, C indexing + Y-axis, this process reduces the cutting significantly.
Capability to cope with changes in workpiece and on the amount of production
With our extensive expertise in automation, we can recommend production method that matches customer’s needs.
